🔷 The first line provides non-urgent help for, for example, stressful life situations or symptoms of depression and anxiety. You can call without a referral or appointment, and a psychiatric nurse will answer the calls.
🔷 The first-line phone number for mental health services is 08 669 3900. (Mon-Thu 8 am-15 pm, Fri 8 am-13 pm)

💙 Good news for Kärsämäki! 💙
The municipality of Kärsämäki will continue the baby scholarship policy in 2026 in cooperation with the Kärsämäki Lions Club. The municipal government has decided to increase the municipality's share of the baby scholarship to 450 euros per baby - we are investing in the future and new Kärsämäkis from the very beginning 👶✨
However, the support does not end there. The municipality supports Kärsämäkis at different stages of life, as in previous years:
🎓 Student grants will be paid in 2026
🚗 Commuting allowance is available for those working in remote locations
